Mission Statement

The specific and primary purpose for which the Corporation is formed is to support and promote programs of the Howey in the Hills Library (“Library”).

1. To support and promote charitable, educational, health-related, literary and scientific programs and needs that further the goals of the Library. These may include, but are not limited to:
   1. Programs that support education for children, students, and adults;
   2. Programs for adults and  children that enhance and promote good health;
   3. Literacy programs;
   4. Uses of technology in the library;
   5. Advocacy for the library throughout the community;
   6. Projects that improve the interior and/or exterior of the library.
2. To encourage donations for the above programs through annual memberships, sponsorships, fund raising events, etc.
